USA Nationals
My itinerary is logging international miles domestically like I’m touring the country spitting tracks (music) not running on tracks. I’m headed to USA Champs this weekend in Iowa to get a few hurdle rounds in before I hit the Prefontaine Diamond League meet next weekend in Oregon. Soon thereafter, it’s back to crawling inside a steel bird for the 2nd half of the European circuit. Thanks to a crappy season thus far, I’m heading into USA’s seeded 10th instead of Top 5 from years prior but hey it could be worse; I could have the freshest scuff free kick game from being wheelchair bound, I could be feetless or worse yet legless, or …just plain dead, so I’m still thankful. I coined a lil saying this morning: “At least i’m standing 6ft tall and not 6ft under.”
Fine tuning at practice went well and I finally feel like I’m coming along this season. *cues Organ music* the good book says the POWER of LIFE and DEATH is in the tongue… so I’m about to speak life into this meet and name and claim a season bests in the name of Sweet Dreaded Gladiator Sandal Soft Terry Cotton Robe Wearing name of Jesus… AMEN!!

NBC, June 26 3:00-4:00 pm
ESPN, June 27 1:00-2:30 pm ( 1st round Saturday)
NBC, June 27 3:00-4:00 pm (and two rounds Sunday)
Im in GOON mode this meet: hair not twisted, facially hair looking liking Tom Hanks in ‘Cast Away’, and determination in my eyes like I’ll eat your food wit no hands! Haha… I’ll post with good results this weekend (or else…)
